Meet Lauren

Hi there! I am an Alabama transplant, Dallas native, Baylor bear, wife and mom of two littles.

I offer a strengths-based approach when working with teens, women and couples. My primary areas of focus are anxiety, depression, grief, parenting, spirituality, (pre)marital counseling, eating disorders and women’s issues. I enjoy integrating faith in therapy upon client request.

After graduating Baylor, I attended Dallas Theological Seminary and majored in Christian Education. After some time working in children’s ministry and community mental health, I went back to graduate school to complete my degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Seminary. I have worked in private practice in Austin and Dallas as well as eating disorder recovery in Dallas.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Alabama (#L629) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in Texas (#202847). I am currently under licensure supervision in TX from Heather Resneder, LMFT-S #201170.
